Not quite “Abide with me” (unless that is your favourite) but how about “A Bid with Hymn”.
To help raise funds for the building project, the Centenary Songs of Praise service on Sunday Evening 20th November will be slightly different in that the hymns and songs and verses chosen will be bid for.
All you need to do is to complete the slip detailing your favourite hymn, song or verse and explain why it is so special to you and bid your price. Place your bid slip in the box provided in the front reception area of the church no later than Sunday 6th November. Extra bid slips will be available by the box. If your hymn, song or verse is selected then you will be asked to pay your bid amount.
No selection = No fee
